About Skye
We named the company after a place.
The Isle of Skye in Scotland: open, dramatic, human in scale. The metaphor has lasted thirty years. Training, we believe, should feel like a place a learner wants to be in.
Our story
Founded 1995. Same philosophy, three decades on.
Skye was founded in 1995 by a small team that believed corporate training had a people problem. Workforce data has only confirmed them — barely one in three employees feels engaged at work, and most training reads like it was built to be tolerated, not absorbed.
Three decades later, that founding bet has built into a custom learning agency that helps AbbVie, Pfizer, Lockheed Martin, Novo Nordisk, the U.S. government, and dozens of other enterprise teams build training that actually changes behavior on the job.
Many of our first clients are still our clients today. In an industry chasing the next platform, that is the proof point that matters most.
Values
What we won't trade away.
- 01People FirstEngagement, retention, and job satisfaction are the metrics we work backward from.
- 02Substance over SpectacleTech is a tool, not the strategy. Content is still the heart of learning.
- 03Tailored, Never RecycledEvery program starts with a detailed upfront analysis, not a template.
- 04Relationships Over TransactionsNo handoffs. The team you meet is the team you keep.
- 05Mastery, MeasuredIf we can't measure behavior change, we haven't finished the job.
